The lady at the B&B has just told me that the food I had yesterday is called arancini (pronounced aranchino). It's a risoto croquet and the italian for orange is arancia.

Siracusa (Syracuse)

So now I am in Siracusa or more precisely on the island of Ortiga. The place is almost fully booked and I had to visit 10+ B&B before I found somewhere. I am very pleased though because it's really nice, down a back street.
