I've had to wash my sandals, they were becoming a bio-hazard. Last nights accommodation was sub standard so I've moved and got a much better place with a sea view and a balcony.

Calamari lure
From what I can make out this is what you use to catch calamari. I am guessing that it wraps its tentacles around the hooks and gets caught like that rather than swallowing it like a fish.
Christ is brown.
I've noticed that depictions of Christ tend to be browner in Sicily than they are in the UK. Probably more lifelike.

I've caught a cable car to the top of a mountain with an almost impregnable fortress on the top. The view is amazing, I think I can see Blackpool tower.
